The work

Balayage is painted on by hand rather than pulled through foils, which is why it grows out softly instead of leaving a hard line at your roots. It means longer between appointments and far less regrowth panic at week six.

We build colour in dimension: a deeper base, mid-tones that catch light when you move, and brightness placed where it actually frames your face. A toner at the end controls warmth and is what separates expensive-looking blonde from brassy blonde.

Blonde on dark or previously coloured hair is a process, not a single appointment. We will be straight with you about how many sessions your hair needs to get where you want it while staying healthy.

How long does balayage take?

Plan on three to four hours for a full balayage with a toner and blowdry. Blonde on dark hair can run longer or need a second session.

How often do I need it redone?

Most clients come back every three to four months. That is the main advantage of balayage over foils, which need touching up every six to eight weeks.

Will it damage my hair?

Any lightening lifts the cuticle. We work in stages and stop where your hair's condition says to stop, rather than pushing to a target shade in one sitting.
