Your information

Privacy notice

This notice explains how this website handles booking requests, reviews and salon photographs. Please avoid sending sensitive health information in forms or reviews.

Booking requests

A booking request collects your name, contact details, selected service, preferred date and time, location and any message you choose to write. It is sent to the salon’s configured email address so the salon can respond. Sending a request is not itself a confirmed appointment.

Website reviews

With your explicit consent, your display name, service, rating, review text, date and any separately labelled salon reply are public on this website. Your contact email is stored privately for contact and abuse checks and can be used for a private salon email notification; it is not included in the public review. Signed form tokens, HMAC-derived identifiers and duplicate checks help prevent automated or repeated submissions. Reviews do not require a visitor account and are not independently appointment-verified.

Hiding a review removes it from public display and the average but does not erase the original database or older backups. Protected exports can contain private contact emails and must be stored securely.

Salon photos and administration

Salon administrators upload photographs only with the required permission. The public receives display copies with metadata removed. Private administration uses a secure cookie; visitors do not need an account to browse or submit a review.

Service providers and retention

Technical providers that carry website connections may process connection information. The configured SMTP email provider carries booking requests and private review notifications. Operational records, recovery copies and backups are not automatically deleted on a fixed period in this implementation. Contact the salon about a specific request; identity verification may be required.
