Website reviews
Review policy
This policy applies to reviews submitted to the Nofa Salon website. These are not Google reviews, and we do not independently verify that every reviewer had an appointment.
Publishing and order
A review needs a display name, service, one-to-five-star rating, written review, private contact email and explicit publication consent. Required form, duplicate and abuse checks apply to every star rating. Reviews that pass are published immediately, without a positive-rating approval step. Published reviews appear newest first. The displayed average includes all published ratings, across all services unless a service is explicitly named.
When a review can be hidden
We apply the same rules to positive and negative reviews. A review may be hidden for these recorded reasons:
- Spam
- Abusive or threatening content
- Exposed private information
- Duplicate submission
- Wrong business or unrelated content
- Substantiated fabricated experience
- Reviewer's deletion request
A low rating, genuine criticism or owner disagreement is not a removal reason. A fabricated-experience claim needs supporting evidence, not opinion. Admins must record a reason and explanation for each removal.
Hiding removes a review from public display and the public average; it preserves the original review and moderation records and can be restored. Salon replies are labelled separately and do not change a reviewer’s words.
Privacy and requests
The public sees a reviewer’s display name, service, rating, review, date and any salon reply. The contact email remains private. Do not include health details, addresses or other people’s personal information in a review.
